Six-person team of advisors moves to UBS in New York City

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE) – UBS Private Wealth Management announced today that financial advisors Matthew (“Matt”) T. Leone, Kevin M. Heck and Emily Barbe have joined the firm in New York City, NY. Client Service Associates Anthony D’Anton, Rosalina Perez-Palombini and Annika Kelshiker also join UBS.

The team, co-founded and led by Matt and Kevin, The Leone-Heck Group, has nearly 40 years of collective experience delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to individuals, families and businesses. Together they manage client assets of $ 890 million.

Matt began his career in financial services in 1997 with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and co-founded the Leone Heck Group with Kevin in 2004. In addition to providing wealth management advice, Matt also helps clients manage concentrated equity positions, fiduciary and estate planning, and transitional events such as retirement, inheritance, or the sale of a company. Matt is a Certified Financial Planner ™ and completed his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Villanova University. He later received his Masters from New York University. Matt lives in Wyckoff, NJ with his wife and three daughters.

Kevin joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2004 and formed the team with Matt. Kevin focuses on developing investment strategies for high net worth individuals and business owners. As a qualified portfolio advisor, he also helps clients build bespoke portfolios that will help them achieve their financial goals. Kevin holds a Certified Financial Planner ™ certification and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Emily has nine years of experience in the financial services industry and has been with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since 2013. Her focus is on developing strategies and advising individuals, families and companies in areas such as retirement planning, estate planning, lending and impact investing. Emily is a Certified Financial Planner ™ and has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Communication from Indiana University. She is a member of the Advisory Board of EDsnaps Inc. and a member of the New York Junior League.
