Seaya Ventures closes a € 165 million fund with a technology focus

By Emma Whitford (Dec 22, 2021, 3:58 p.m. EST) – Spanish investment firm Seaya Ventures announced Wednesday that it has closed its third fund after raising € 165 million from limited partners with plans to move tech companies into Address all sectors including finance, insurance, education and health.

Seaya III, which has surpassed its original target of 125 million euros, has made 10 investments to date, the company said. The goals included the Portuguese autonomous cash register startup Sensei; Spanish screening service Filmin; French buy now, pay later Startup Alma; and Crowdfarming, a Spanish farmer’s startup that sells direct to consumers.
