Rich Millennials to Financial Advisors: Thanks for the golf invite, but you can’t invest my money

Michael Martocci, a 26-year-old startup founder, ignores golf invitations and other requests from the Goldman Sachs Group Inc. financial advisor trying to win him over as a client.

Eighteen holes are not particularly attractive to Miami-based Mr. Martocci, nor are they worth paying for financial advice. Instead, he oversees his hundreds of thousands of dollars in investments himself. He puts 90% of his money in cryptocurrency. To check his stocks, he goes to Robinhood Markets Inc. on his cell phone.
