Billionaire Mark Cuban was one of many people to have email exposed during a massive cyberattack on Sony.
Sony produces “Shark Tank”, the successful ABC show, in which Cubans starred as one of the judges.
A leaked email shows that Sony wanted to pay a Cuban $ 30,000 per episode to star on the show. Cuban was less than enthusiastic. He has answered:
No chance … this is more than an insult and it shows that nobody cares about my investments or the entrepreneurs
now it’s real business ..
I’ll negotiate like any other deal I’d make
Maybe you want to start cutting me out of the promos
Cuban tells CNN’s Brian Stelter that he wasn’t embarrassed that his email about the salary fight leaked.
“It’s not something I haven’t said publicly,” Cuban said. “If they want me to keep doing ‘good TV’ and making investments that I would like to make but that I would otherwise not have made or would not have been accessible to me, then this is the decision they have to make. And if we don’t come to a solution, I’ll leave the show. “
