The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced the 2021 finalists in SA / NT for the Broker of the Year and Young Professional Broker awards.
The SA / NT winners will be crowned at a NIBA SA Gala Lunch on July 23 at the Adelaide Convention Center. The winning couple will then compete for national honors, which will be presented at the NIBA Convention on the Star Gold Coast in October.
The Broker of the Year finalists are: Kate Edgar, General Manager of CBD Insurance Services, and Karen Skinner of Skinner & Irvine Insurance.
Ms. Edgar and Ms. Skinner are now in the running to win the National Stephen Ball Memorial Award 2021 along with Capital Innovation Chairman Ian Goninon – Victorian / Tasmanian Broker of the Year – and NSW / ACT, Queensland and WA winners compete, sponsored by QBE.
The finalists for Young Professional Brokers in SA / NT are: Webber Insurance Services Account Broker Nikia Goers; Aon Client Managing Director Patrick McCole; and PSC Insurance Brokers Account Manager Jasmine Miller.
The winner of this trio will join Vero’s prestigious Young Brokers Alumni Program and alongside Mitchell Wight of Integral Insurance Services – this year’s Victorian / Tasmanian Young Professional Broker of the Year – and NSW / ACT, Queensland and WA winners for the National Warren Tickle. compete commemorative award sponsored by Vero.

NSW / ACT: Marsh Head of FINPRO Craig Claughton; Driessen Insurance Broker Dr. Leo Driessen; and Amanda Morris, MD of Hunter Valley at Arma Insurance Brokers.
The finalists for the Young Professional Broker of the Year are:
WA: Account Executive of Albany District Insurance Brokers Luke Cameron; Joel Middleton, Account Executive, Knightcorp Insurance Brokers; and Risk Guidance Insurance MD and founder Robbie Gibbs.
