Aronberg Goldgehn opens new Wheaton office, adds Karen R. Mills and Amanda M. Zannoni

Full-service law firm Aronberg Goldgehn announces the opening of a new office in Wheaton, Illinois and the expansion of its estate and tax planning, escrow and probate practice with Karen R. Mills as a member and Amanda M. Zannoni as an associate.

Mills will continue to focus on probate proceedings, estate planning, trust and estate administration, special needs planning, asset protection and guardianship for minors and disabled adults, including controversial matters. She is active in the DuPage County Bar Association and currently serves on its board of directors. Prior to her legal career, she spent nearly 20 years in the banking industry advising clients on asset management, preservation and transfer strategies.

Zannoni represents clients in the fields of estate and probate proceedings, including estate and trust administration, appeals of estate plans, claims of abuse of the elderly, and misappropriation of assets by trustees such as agents, trustees and executors. Her practice also includes estate planning, wealth preservation, care planning, and special needs planning.

Both attorneys will practice in the firm’s newly established Wheaton office, 301 S. County Farm Road. The new office provides a convenient location for the firm’s many existing clients in and around DuPage County, as well as new clients who will benefit from the firm’s expanded reach.

“We are excited to welcome Karen and Amanda to the firm and expand our presence beyond Chicago,” said Jerry Holisky, Co-Managing Director of Aronberg Goldgehn. “Estate planning, fiduciary and estate proceedings, and administration have been key areas for company growth. The addition of Karen enhances our skills and expands our presence in the suburbs where our customer base is growing.”

Aronberg Goldgehn’s estate planning and litigation practice focuses on representing wealthy private individuals, entrepreneurs and trustees in the areas of income, estate and tax planning, estate and estate administration, estate proceedings and donation techniques.

“Aronberg Goldgehn is known for his estate planning practice and I am excited to join a growing law firm with a deep bank in this area as well as offering a full range of legal services from corporate and intellectual property to litigation and family law,” added Mills added.

In addition to her legal practice, Mills is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics. In the community, she serves on the board and executive committee of Northwestern Medicine and is co-chair of the Philanthropic Advisory Council for NWM Central DuPage and Delnor Hospitals. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University College of Law.

Zannoni serves on the boards of the DuPage County Bar Association and the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. She graduated from Syracuse University College of Law with a law degree.
