Infosys technologies Ltd announced the launch of Finacle Mobile Banking 2.0. This comprehensive solution enables private and corporate customers to access banking services via mobile SMS, GPRS, 3G and USSD-enabled handsets.
The solution supports multi-host, multilingual, multi-channel and multi-currency banking. It enables interactive financial management that includes product selection, proximity payments, remote deposit capture, new account opening, ATM / branch location based on GPS and value-added services such as mobile ticketing, mobile recharging and mobile marketing.
The robust integration framework of the solution enables seamless integration with different host systems and thus enables a uniform, comprehensive and intuitive user experience. Two-factor authentication and encryption ensure the fidelity of the transactions.
The device-independent solution supports over 8000 mobile handsets, including basic handsets and smart devices such as iPhone, BlackBerry® smartphones1 and iPad. Customers can take advantage of banking services via SMS messaging, browser-based mobile banking, rich client / download-based mobile banking or USSD messaging. In addition, the solution is channel-independent and can be used to process transactions that were initiated via any other channel.
Banks can also use Finacle Mobile Bank-in-a-Box, a preconfigured and pre-integrated solution for quick and easy mobile banking deployment in less than 30 days.
